Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cliperino, the Android app developed by Vinsho, and its public informational website. By using them, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

The App and Website

Cliperino helps you explicitly save, organize, search, and reuse clips, notes, templates, folders, pins, images, and OCR-detected text. Some features use an optional floating overlay. Features depend on your app version, device, Android restrictions, permissions, and purchase availability.

Cliperino does not promise reliable silent background clipboard capture on modern Android. Drive Sync uses foreground opportunities in the Android app and is not a guarantee of continuous background or immediate live synchronization.

The public website provides static branding and legal information. It has no browser login, library client, or Google Drive connection. Website availability does not imply that a browser version of Cliperino is available.

Your Content and Lawful Use

You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for what you create, import, save, copy, share, sync, or export, and for having permission to use it. Your selected sharing, backup, and sync destinations handle content according to their own terms.

You agree not to:

• Use Cliperino to violate applicable law or another person's rights.
• Collect, store, or distribute content you are not authorized to use, including unlawful or infringing material.
• Interfere with the app, website, purchase validation, backup or sync services, or platform security.
• Modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute Cliperino except where permitted by law.

Local Protection and Recovery

Optional local protection uses an encrypted vault, a device-local PIN, and supported biometric access. The PIN is independent on each device. Notes attached to protected items remain visible when those items are locked: never store secrets in those notes.

Protection applies to the app's protected copy, not to original images or copies in other apps, the system clipboard, exports, or other destinations. You are responsible for securing your device, accounts, backup files, and recovery credentials.

Keep local recovery codes and backup credentials safe outside the app. For Drive Sync, keep your recovery password and access to authorized devices. If all usable keys and recovery access are lost, the developer cannot recover encrypted content. Local recovery and sync recovery are different mechanisms; do not assume one credential replaces another.

Backup and Drive Sync

Cliperino supports local exports. Older app versions also offer optional legacy Drive backup through Android's document picker. Portable version 4 backups are encrypted when the local vault is enrolled. Historical unencrypted formats from unenrolled installations may be accepted where safe, so do not assume all backup files are encrypted.

Optional Premium full-library Drive Sync requires explicit consent and Google authorization for your selected account. Keep an independent backup of important content.

Drive Sync uses only Google's drive.appdata permission for Cliperino's hidden application data, not permission to access your other Drive files. It syncs clips, folders, templates, images, ordering, and protection information. Saved content and sync media are encrypted before upload; password-encrypted recovery-key records and synchronization metadata are also stored in Drive. Your local PIN is not uploaded to Drive.

Google Drive storage and account availability, including your shared Google storage quota, affect backup and sync. Vinsho does not provide a content-storage server. Do not rely on sync alone as your only backup or assume that every change has reached another device before checking it.

Deleting an item can propagate its deletion when sync is enabled, but old encrypted revisions, conflict versions, and deletion markers may remain in Drive. In-app deletion does not guarantee removal of all history. Disconnecting, uninstalling, clearing local data, or revoking account access does not erase cloud records. Manage hidden application data through Google Drive Settings, Manage Apps, and delete app data there if desired. Revoke account access separately through your Google Account settings. Remove legacy backup documents and exports from their chosen locations separately.

Changing a password does not retroactively revoke access to copies or keys already held by someone else. You are responsible for protecting credentials and reviewing the consequences before deleting local data, backups, or recovery material.

Permissions and Third-Party Services

Some features require camera, image or document-provider access, notifications, overlay access, or Google account authorization. You choose whether to grant access. Features that require it may not work if access is denied or revoked.

Cliperino uses third-party services, including Google Play, Google Drive when chosen, Google ML Kit for OCR, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, and RevenueCat for purchase management. Cloudflare hosts the public website. Their services are also subject to their applicable terms and policies. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and your choices.

Premium Purchases

Premium features may be offered through Google Play, with RevenueCat supporting purchase and entitlement management. Review the product, price, and applicable billing terms shown at purchase. Purchase availability and access depend on the relevant purchase status and store services.

Google Play handles payment processing and applicable purchase, cancellation, and refund processes. These Terms do not waive any Google Play refund rights or mandatory consumer rights. Features and pricing may change subject to applicable law and the terms of your purchase.

Availability and No Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, Cliperino and its website are provided "as is" and "as available." Vinsho does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, immediate synchronization, or suitability for every purpose.

Keep independent backups of important content and verify that you can restore them. Device failures, lost credentials, account or storage issues, conflicting edits, uninstalling, clearing data, and actions in other apps can result in loss of access or content. No security measure eliminates every risk. These limitations do not exclude any warranty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinsho will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of Cliperino or its website.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so is unlawful or removes mandatory consumer remedies. Any disclaimer applies only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

Changes and Stopping Use

Features, limits, availability, and these Terms may change. The date above identifies the latest update to these Terms. Changes remain subject to applicable law and existing purchase rights.

You may stop using Cliperino at any time. Features may be suspended or discontinued for legal, security, operational, or platform reasons, subject to applicable law. Stopping use does not automatically cancel purchases or subscriptions, erase Drive records, or remove exported files; manage each through its relevant service.
